Well hello old friends and new acquaintances! I am pretty sure blogging is a thing of the past but I figured might as well see if anyone is still around... A few big changes in my life, getting second at the AM worlds DGT! Being in 10th grade (not as fun as you may think) and... Ran out of interesting things already.... :) Anyway this goes out to the people who still follow these prehistoric blogs ;)
Ever since our church merged with North Peachtree Baptist Church in May of last year, we have had skate night in the gym every 3rd Friday of the month. It was one of the few times we had been skating, so we weren't very good at it, but over the months we slowly got better. Here are videos, of some of Ezra's and my races.
We took a trip to Idaho about a week ago. It was really cool, it was the first time I had flown on an airplane. The view was awesome from up that high.
All of our family moved up there a couple of years ago, so it was great to see everybody again. They live in a valley surrounded by mountains. It is really cool when you're driving down the road and can look and see mountains everywhere. We went to a place called Eagle Island and swam, the water was so cold. We hiked a big hill called Lizard's Butte you could see all sorts of mountains and the Snake River. And on the last day we caught a bunch of baby quail in the chicken house. They were about 1" tall and wide with yellow and brown stripes.
Some times we go to walk at Stone Mountain. Normally we walk on the covered bridge trails, but a few days ago we walked on the white trail. It was really fun. There are big things of rock that lead down to the water. Here are some pictures.
On Wednesday, my dad went to Texas with our friend Roberto. So, we and mom had the whole weekend to ourselves. The first day we went out to eat at Chilis, and on the second day we played Wii and mom played legos with us. Then, on the third day we did the best thing ever - we went to the Tenneesse Aquarium and got year long passes!! Here are some pictures.
