Idaho

We took a trip to Idaho about a week ago. It was really cool,  it was the first time I had flown on an airplane. The view was awesome from up that high.

All of our family moved up there a couple of years ago, so it was great to see everybody again. They live in a valley surrounded by mountains. It is really cool when you're driving down the road and can look and see mountains everywhere. We went to a place called Eagle Island and swam, the water was so cold. We hiked a big hill called Lizard's Butte you could see all sorts of mountains and the Snake River. And on the last day we caught a bunch of baby quail in the chicken house. They were about 1" tall and wide with yellow and brown stripes.

Stone Mountain walks

Some times we go to walk at Stone Mountain. Normally we walk on the covered bridge trails, but a few days ago we walked on the white trail. It was really fun. There are big things of rock that lead down to the water. Here are some pictures.

some really fun days

On Wednesday, my dad went to Texas with our friend Roberto. So, we and mom had the whole weekend to ourselves. The first day we went out to eat at Chilis, and on the second day we played Wii and mom played legos with us. Then, on the third day we did the best thing ever - we went to the Tenneesse Aquarium and got year long passes!! Here are some pictures.

A Bible Study

We are doing a bible study about the Armor of God. It is cool because every week you get to do a little cube that asks you questions. But the coolest thing is a contest where every week you get to build a Lego thing about a verse you read. It is so cool. The winner gets a big Lego set - this is the set:

Storms

We had some big storms the past few days. A big tree fell on the power lines and all the power went out. It was cool! Then we went somewhere and came back home and we saw lights on up the street. But, when we got home, it turned out the electricity company fixed every house but ours and the one across the street. So we spent the night in the dark.
