Haiku

We have been reading about Japan and haiku is a type of poetry that Japanese people write. It doesn't have to rhyme it just has to have 5 syllables on one line, and 7 on the other, and 5 again on the next line. Here are some I wrote by myself.

homeschool is so fun
I like staying home with mom
we have so much fun


Cereal is so good
it is so good with fresh cold milk
on Sunday mornings


Jesus is so bright
like a star in the night
He shines forever
