Two excitements

My dad got a dumpster and this is what we found while we were putting stuff into it. The first thing we found under the stairs was a dead rat. My dad was so upset but I thought it was cool because you could see its teeth and scull. And then a day later my dad was sweeping the garage and he saw a snake. It was brown like the snake in my earlier blog post, except it looked different. So he put it under a disk with bottles of water on top and looked it up. It turned out it was a copperhead snake so we had to kill it! I was so sad.

Hi, Isaac! Ask you Mom if she remembers the snake in New Hampshire. I can't remember if she was away at school so maybe only Aunt Sarah was there, but we found a snake in our barn/garage and it jumped! I managed to move it to a box and then sat on the car with a rake on top of the box until Grandpa came to "rescue" me. He took the jumping snake and tossed it over the hill to the creek next to our yard. It is funny to think about now, but I was fierce in my efforts to keep the snake in the box until help arrived! Love you! Grandma
